The home was in the construction phase with exterior sheathing already installed and prepared for the exterior cladding system. We had to a lot of corrections on the exterior sheathing.
A 3-foot gap between the house and the fence line limited scaffolding options on the east elevation, requiring a staged ladder-and-platform approach
Work had to be carefully sequenced around framing completion, window installation timing, and coordination with other trades working on the building envelope to ensure proper integration of the stucco system.
In Toronto's cold winter months, the homeowner was having issues with the cold air leak coming from the bricked exterior walls. The insulation certainly helps with this common problem. The R-value you achieve with installing 2 inch think PUCCS system is 7.4 in total, which is a great number.
